About Velodays

Mr & Mrs Innes - Velodays Cycling HolidaysVelodays was established by Neil Innes in 2008. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland we started life providing bespoke cycling holidays throughout Scotland.

As business developed through 2009 and 2010, we started to run small cycling events and to deliver projects relating to cycle tourism for visitor destinations.  When VisitScotland decided to discontinue Scotlands national cycling website in 2010, Velodays began the development of as the nations most comprehensive cycling website.

The initial idea for Velodays came after a number of independent cycling holidays over many years. Travelling by bike is a wonderful experience and a great way to see any country and meet local people.

In 2012, we decided to cease our role in the sale of cycling hol;idays in scotland, prefering instead to develop our events and supported cycling trips and to develop Cycle Scotland as a resource for those who prefer to plan their own trip.

Neil has been cycling for almost 30 years and established Velodays after working in the promotion of Scottish tourism for twelve years. A passionate advocate of Cycle Tourism, Neil has also worked as a consultant to help promote cycling in Scotland.
